Subscription Licensing

A subscription license entitles you to use the ActiveXperts Network Monitor software, upgrades and product support for one, two or three years. Thereafter, you may continue or terminate the subscription license. The subscription will not be renewed automatically. We will ask you at the end of the subscription period if you want to renew the subscription.

Product licenses are offered in four editions, based on the number of checks and on the different corporate networks it is used.

The subscription model offers more flexibility in the application usage cycle. After the subscription period ends, you can continue to use ActiveXperts Network Monitor with another subscription. Within a subscription period, it is possible to upgrade your subscription. Licensing Options

The licensing options are based on the number of checks defined in the software, not on the number of hosts, IP addresses, servers etc. A check is an aspect that you monitor on a server, workstation, device or service. For example, you can monitor a Windows Server computer on the following aspects (where each item listed below counts as one Check):

• CPU Usage
• Disk Space
• No removable drives attached

You usually need a few 'checks' per computer or device, but it depends on the aspects you want to monitor.
You can always upgrade your license to allow more checks by just paying the price difference.

ActiveXperts Network Monitor 150 Checks (AS007-0150)

With the AS007-0150 subscription license:

• You can run up to 150 checks.
• You are restricted to install only ONE instance of the software on the network (so there will be one monitoring server); you are NOT allowed to install the software on multiple computers (for instance for load-balancing purposes).
• All checks must be related to IP-devices or computers in your organization or on the public internet.
• It is not allowed to define checks for IP-devices or computers in the private network of another organization
• You are not allowed to install the software outside your organization or distribute the product as part of your own software.

ActiveXperts Network Monitor 500 Checks (AS007-0500)

With the AS007-0500 subscription license:

• You can run up to 500 checks.
• You are restricted to install only ONE instance of the software on the network (so there will be one monitoring server); you are NOT allowed to install the software on multiple computers (for instance for load-balancing purposes).
• All checks must be related to IP-devices or computers in your organization or on the public internet.
• It is not allowed to define checks for IP-devices or computers in the private network of another organization
• You are not allowed to install the software outside your organization or distribute the product as part of your own software.

ActiveXperts Network Monitor Unlimited Checks (AS007-ULTD)

With the AS007-ULTD subscription license:

• You can run an unlimited number of checks .
• You are allowed to install multiple instances of the software on the network (so there will be multiple monitoring computers, for instance for load-balancing purposes).
• All checks must be related to IP-devices or computers in your organization or on the public internet.
• It is not allowed to define checks for IP-devices or computers in the private network of another organization
• You are not allowed to install the software outside your organization or distribute the product as part of your own software.

ActiveXperts Network Monitor Service Provider (AS007-ULSP)

With the AS007-ULSP subscription license:

• You can run an unlimited number of checks .
• You are allowed to install multiple instances of the software on the network (so there will be multiple monitoring computers, for instance for load-balancing purposes).
• You are also allowed to monitor an unlimited number of IP-devices/computers in any other organization on an unlimited number of sites.
• You are not allowed to distribute the software as part of your own software.

ActiveXperts Network Monitor Free License

With the Free License:

• Professionally monitor your network for free.
• You can run up to 15 checks.
• You are restricted to install only ONE instance of the software on the network (so there will be one monitoring server); you are NOT allowed to install the software on multiple computers (for instance for load-balancing purposes).
• All checks must be related to IP-devices or computers in your organization or on the public internet.
• It is not allowed to define checks for IP-devices or computers in the private network of another organization
• You are not allowed to install the software outside your organization or distribute the product as part of your own software.
